Author Avis Marcus
Avis Marcus is a praying woman who was led by the Holy Spirit to create Words That Heal, a website to promote and encourage Christian development. She is also a published author. Her book of thirty-one days of meditations and prayers titled Prayers in the Wilderness, is a reflection of her personal wilderness and testimony, but it touches the readers’ hearts and souls because they can identify with her trials and afflictions. Prayers in the Wilderness is a comforting devotional based on Biblical perspectives. It encourages its readers to move their focus away from feelings of despair due to personal anxieties and disappointment that have been brought on by proverbial “unexpected life events”.
